Regular hearing tests is an important component of the UK health and safety legislation for workers who are regularly exposed to noise over 85dB, and also to those with reduced exposure but who are at a higher risk of hearing loss.

Legislation requires employers to:

  1. Provide regular hearing checks;
  2. Inform employees of their hearing test results
  3. Keep secure health records;
  4. Ensure employees are examined by a doctor where hearing damage is identified
